SGI Global, LLC (SGI) is pleased to award Ms. Ingrid Cumberlidge as Employee of the Quarter for 3rd Quarter 2022. Ms. Cumberlidge serves as SGI’s Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons (MMIP) Coordinator supporting the United States Attorney’s Office (USAO), District of Alaska.

As the District of Alaska’s MMIP Coordinator, Ms. Cumberlidge reviews available data to identify MMIP cases connected to Alaska; conducts outreach with tribal communities to assist in the creation and implementation of community action plans; coordinates with tribal, local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies in the development of protocols and procedures for responding to and addressing MMIP cases; and promotes improved data collection and analyses throughout Alaska.

This Working Group has met bi-monthly on a wide variety of MMIP capacity building and challenge topics ranging from challenges with data compiled, to victim services, to training and recruitment of law enforcement. A priority of the Working Group is participating in listening and consultation sessions with Tribes across Alaska. Michael McManamon, SGI Managing Partner, commented on Ms. Cumberlidge’s achievements: “Ingrid works tirelessly day in and day out to serve the tribal communities of Alaska. The work she does on a daily basis is making a difference for so many families. We are humbled to have her as part of the SGI family and look forward to her continued success in the MMIP role.”
