Fairfax, VA. – SGI Global LLC. (SGI), is pleased to announce its award of a SeaPort Next Generation (SeaPort NxG) prime contract. This award allows SGI the ability to deliver critical support services to the U.S. Navy and other Department of Defense (DoD) entities, furthering its commitment to national defense and mission readiness.
SeaPort NxG is a multiple-award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract holding a total value of $5 billion, and includes a five-year base period with one five-year option. NxG fulfills the Navy’s requirement for Engineering Support Services and Program Management Support Services. The SeaPort-NxG contract covers a diverse array of services categorized into engineering and program management support. SGI was awarded a contract under Program Management, which consists of 11 functional areas, to include financial analysis, quality assurance, and computer systems analysis, functional and direct programmatic administrative support, professional development and training, analytical and organizational assessment, database administrators, public affairs and multimedia and logistics. Under the SeaPort NxG contract, SGI will have the opportunity to compete for task orders across a wide spectrum of services, benefiting both the Navy and its workforce.
