On May 9, 2022, SGI Global Mexico donated 31 cordoning tapes to Universidad Mexiquense de Seguridad of Mexico State. Cordoning tapes are used in crime scenes by law enforcement to protect the integrity of the crime scene, as well as to protect the officers at the scene. This donation will be used to test police officers in first responder abilities. SGI Global Deputy Program Manager Nicole Heydari and Logistics Coordinator Arantxa Ramirez delivered the cordoning tapes to Lic. Armando Santiago Peña, Chief of Academic Department of the Plantel de Formación y Actualización Nezahualcóyotl, of the Universidad Mexiquense de Seguridad of Mexico State. SGI Global provides Police/Law Enforcement training and technical assistance to Government of Mexico (GOM), delivering courses at the federal, state, and local levels to improve police investigative techniques, enhance public safety and border security and bolster counterterrorism efforts.
